Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an established Alternative Provision in Wellingborough to recruit a Construction Tutor. The role focuses on practical, hands-on teaching, using industry experience to help students develop skills, confidence and pathways toward employment.

The position offers a 4-day working week, with a temp-to-perm route and opportunities to use your practical trade knowledge in an educational setting while supporting learners with SEN, SEMH and gaps in education.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Construction or trade-based subjects.
• Industry experience and/or a teaching qualification.
• Experience working with students with SEN/SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to different abilities and learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical construction sessions and engage learners.
• Support students to develop hands-on skills and industry knowledge.
• Help learners work towards relevant qualifications and future pathways.
