Job summary

Pratap Partnership Ltd in Leeds City Centre is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to own a broad range of finance responsibilities in a growing business within the renewable energy sector. This office-based role offers hands-on involvement and an important place within a expanding finance function.

You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, reporting, budgeting, VAT, payroll, and financial analysis, with opportunities to improve processes as the business grows in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience across AP/AR, reconciliations and reporting.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, accurate and methodical.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good IT skills and ability to work with foreign currencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Completing regular bank reconciliations.
• Working with foreign currencies (EUR, CNY).
• Preparing financial reports including P&L, balance sheets and cash flow.
• Supporting budgets and forecasts.
• Assisting with VAT and tax compliance.
• Processing payroll.
• Collaborating with colleagues and management to provide financial information.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
