Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our busy practice. You will manage day-to-day client bookkeeping across a varied portfolio, including sole traders, limited companies and partnerships, and support the wider team.

Offering £25,000 to £30,000 per annum with onsite working, the role emphasises accuracy, timely VAT/CIS submissions, and training junior staff, while providing clear progression within a growing firm of around 50 staff.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience in practice.
• AAT Level 3/4 or ICB desirable; experience considered.
• Proficiency with Xero/QuickBooks/Sage and receipt tools Dext/Hubdoc.
• Solid knowledge of UK VAT, CIS, and Making Tax Digital compliance.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Onsite Leeds-based role.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day client bookkeeping across varied clients.
• Process sales/purchase ledgers, reconcile banks, and prepare trial balances.
• Prepare VAT and CIS returns, ensure MTD compliance.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts with reconciliations.
• Onboard clients to cloud software and support digital migration.
• Meet statutory deadlines and maintain accurate files.
• Train and support junior staff and apprentices.
