Job summary

Stargazey Spirits is seeking a hands-on Assistant Distiller to support the production of a diverse range of rums and gins. The role focuses on distillation, quality checks, and accurate record-keeping to ensure our brands meet high standards.

You will work with the Operations Manager to follow recipes, monitor production, and help maintain safe, efficient distillery operations. Experience in beverage production or similar manufacturing is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in distilling or beverage production.
• Familiarity with distillation equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes and record data accurately.
• Understanding of alcohol strength measurements and batch tracking.
• Knowledge of safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce spirits following approved recipes and schedules.
• Prepare materials and operate production equipment safely.
• Record production data and ensure traceability.
• Maintain quality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
