Job summary

Workchain is recruiting Assembly Operatives in Tile Hill, Coventry (CV4 9XA) for a hands-on role building large industrial cooling structures. You’ll use a range of hand tools and follow detailed build instructions to complete assemblies from start to finish.

This physical position may involve climbing on structures and moving around units. Pay starts at £13.63 per hour, rising by 75p once fully trained, with a genuine temp-to-perm path and standard daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded and practical.
• Confident using hand tools.
• Extremely attentive to detail.
• Physically fit for hands-on work.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Previous experience in assembly/manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assembling large industrial cooling units and structures.
• Using a variety of hand tools as required.
• Following detailed assembly instructions.
• Working carefully and accurately throughout the build.
• Moving around and climbing on/off structures as required.
• Working as part of a team to complete large-scale builds.
• Paying close attention to detail to ensure correct assembly.
