Job summary

Workchain is recruiting Assembly Operatives in Tile Hill, Coventry (CV4 9XA) for a hands-on role building large industrial cooling structures. You’ll use a range of hand tools and follow detailed build instructions to complete assemblies from start to finish.

This physical position may involve climbing on structures and moving around units. Pay starts at £13.63 per hour, rising by 75p once fully trained, with a genuine temp-to-perm path and standard daytime shifts.

Workchain are recruiting Assembly Operatives on behalf of a well-established company in Tile Hill, Coventry, who specialise in manufacturing large industrial cooling systems, primarily used within data centres.

THIS ISN'T YOUR TYPICAL ASSEMBLY JOB!

Forget standing on a production line doing the same small task all day.

You’ll be involved in the hands-on assembly of very large industrial cooling structures, using a range of hand tools and working through the build process from start to finish. The structures are large, so this is a physical role. You’ll regularly need to climb up and down from the coolers and move around the structures while assembling them, so you’ll need to be physically fit, comfortable working at different levels and capable of being on your feet throughout the day.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Assembling large industrial cooling units and structures
• Using a variety of hand tools
• Following detailed assembly instructions
• Working carefully and accurately throughout the build

• Paying close attention to detail to ensure everything is assembled correctly

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You should be:

• Physically fit and able to repeatedly get up and down from large structures
• Someone who enjoys learning how things work and understanding the assembly process

• Previous experience in assembly, mechanical work, engineering, manufacturing, construction or a similar hands-on environment would be advantageous.

PAY & HOURS

£13.63 per hour to startPay increases by 75p per hour once fully trained.Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30Friday: 08:00–15:30

TEMP TO PERM

This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, giving you the chance to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Please note: Candidates must be able to reliably commute to CV4 9XA.
