Job summary

Manpower, Inc. Coventry, West Midlands is seeking an Assembly and Test Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling thermal management heat exchangers and ensuring parts meet drawings and customer requirements, with hands-on testing and inspection throughout.

You will read engineering drawings, perform visual inspections, and operate various inspection and test equipment. The position requires an apprentice engineering background, with possible on-the-job training, and

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed or in progress.
• 5 years' similar experience in an engineering manufacturing facility.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience desirable.
• Operate various inspection and test equipment.
• Good computer skills including SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Q-Pulse.
• Demonstrable ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble thermal management heat exchangers to meet drawings and customer requirements.
• Perform production acceptance testing on assembled units using pneumatic, hydraulic, and flow testing rigs.
• Follow SOPs and quality engineering standards to ensure product safety and conformance.

Job description

• Assemble thermal management heat exchangers ensuring product conforms to drawing and customer requirements, perform production acceptance testing on assembled units using Pneumatic, hydraulic , and flow testing rigs.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work to quality engineering standards, and ensure product safety.
• Read engineering drawings and conduct visual inspection of part prior to assembly and throughout the assembly and test process.

Experience required

• Apprentice engineering
• An engineering apprenticeship is desirable, although training will be given.
• 5 year's similar experience in an engineering manufacturing facility.

• Ability to operate various inspection and test equipment.
