Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group is seeking an Assembly Operative for a busy Modification Centre in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves assembling and modifying standard products, following engineering drawings and instructions to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Benefits include a starting salary of £27,592 per annum for a full-time permanent position with a 3-month probation period. Working hours are Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–4:30pm; Westfield location

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Comfortable in a practical assembly and machining environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality and standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Assemble and modify products to specifications.
• Follow written work instructions and processes.
• Operate a milling machine and other tooling
• Maintain health and safety compliance and good housekeeping
• Support customers and colleagues via telephone and email
• Meet production deadlines and quality standards
