Job summary

PureKat Consultancy is recruiting for an Assembling Operative to join a Newmarket-based employer in Suffolk. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent role involves assembling specialist products to engineering specifications within a busy manufacturing environment.

You will receive full training, work Monday-Thursday 08:30am - 17:30pm, finish at 12:30pm on a Friday, and earn £12.75 per hour. You will use hand and power tools, read drawings, perform quality checks, and contribute to continuous

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to specification using engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and production paperwork.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
• Identify and report any defects or production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
