Job summary

Inspectas Compliance is offering a Level 3 Asbestos Site Technician apprenticeship in Bradford. The role blends on-site asbestos analyses with reporting, training and professional development, supported by a dedicated workplace mentor and a structured online and in-person programme.

You will learn surveys, air monitoring and clearance testing, working under qualified professionals to build regulatory and safety expertise.

Qualifications

• Be 18+; Not in full-time education; Have UK residency for at least 3 years; Right to work in the UK; Apprenticeship designed to develop asbestos surveying/analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos inspections, testing, sampling and air monitoring under supervision.
• Support risk assessments and other asbestos-related activities.
• Produce accurate reports and technical documentation after site inspections.
• Follow health, safety, quality assurance and regulatory procedures, including PPE usage.
• Develop knowledge of asbestos legislation and internal procedures through training.
• Gain experience in surveys for management, refurbishment and demolition over time.
• Perform site visits, liaise with clients and assist in preparing survey reports.
• Check and maintain equipment to ensure safety and serviceability.
