Job summary

Hall & Rhodes Security Ltd, a Yorkshire-based security company, is recruiting an apprentice security engineer based in Brighouse. You will learn to install, maintain and fault-find on access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and security lighting while working with experienced engineers.

The programme includes block-release training at our Doncaster centre, progressing to a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship with real hands-on tasks and annual assessments.

Qualifications

• Driving license required due to travel
• Maths and English at grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent) or above
• Desire to learn more about the wider security installation industry
• Excellent customer service and team working skills
• Electrical and/or engineering qualifications or experience would be a bonus
• Comfortable working at height, due to the nature of the role

Responsibilities

• As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on security systems.
• Systems include Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intruder Alarms, and Security Lighting
