Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Hand Therapist to join a Multidisciplinary specialist Hand team. The role involves delivering hand therapy alongside Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgeons, with strong focus on CPD and supervision.

The post supports referrals from Orthopaedics, GPs and other clinicians, and provides supervised practice under a senior hand therapist. UK registration with HCPC is essential, and NHS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post-registration experience in hand therapy and NHS
• Experience supervising students/junior/unregistered staff
• Experience in assessment, development and evaluation of hand therapy programmes

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a Hand Therapy team delivering specialist care
• Provide scar management, splinting and activity retraining
• Collaborate with MDT to optimise hand and wrist function
