Job summary

Bedford College Group seeks an Associate Lecturer in Hairdressing to join the Hair & Beauty department in Dunstable. You will deliver high-quality teaching and assess students across courses, develop schemes of work and help students achieve their potential.

Requirements include Level 3 Hair/Beauty Therapy qualification with possible assessor qualifications and FE teaching experience. You will support curriculum development, employer engagement and safeguarding while traveling between service

Qualifications

Holds a Level 3 Hair/Beauty Therapy qualification with assessor qualifications desirable and demonstrates commitment to CPD including teaching qualifications and industry updating.
Experienced in teaching, assessing and monitoring student progress in Beauty Therapy, with ability to plan lessons and schemes of work.
Understand awarding body requirements (e.g. City & Guilds) and FE environment.

Responsibilities

Teaching, Learning & Student Achievement - Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across courses.
Curriculum Planning & Quality Assurance - Develop schemes of work, learning materials and assessments.
Student Support & Administration - Maintain records, monitor attendance and provide guidance.

Safeguarding, Equality & Professional Standards - Promote safeguarding and uphold policies.
