A leading healthcare organization in Bath seeks a Quality Manager to oversee the design and implementation of a quality management system for the Bone Marrow Transplant Service. The Quality Manager will be responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of a quality management system to achieve JACIE (Joint Accreditation Committee-ISCT & EBMT) accreditation. Post-accreditation, they will manage the system to ensure the Bone Marrow Transplant Service improves in quality, meets regulatory standards, and maintains accreditation. The role involves working closely with the Clinical Programme Director and Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialists, establishing data and information requirements for JACIE standards, and developing models and processes for data management to promote knowledge use throughout the department.
The Quality Manager should have the skills to promote quality, safety, and service improvements across the service and division. Key aspects include organization, planning, data collection, audits, and process control, which are vital for effective Stem Cell Transplant services, clinical governance, and risk management within the Trust.
