Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Haematology Clinical Practice Facilitator to support education on the Bud Flanagan Unit. The role focuses on facilitating training for nursing staff and coordinating with the Haematology Practice Educator to maintain high-quality patient care.

It is a part-time post of 30 hours per week, salary NHS Band 6 (£45,953 - £54,254 pro-rata), fixed-term for 12 months.

Qualifications

• NMC Registration required.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Sufficient post-registration nursing experience in Haemato-Oncology.
• Professional Nurse Advocate.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to the Haematology Practice Educator and nursing team.
• Assist in ensuring staff are trained in core nursing skills for SACT, Transplant, Cellular Therapy.
• Support newly qualified nurses to gain clinical competence in Haematology care.
• Contribute to JACIE accreditation objectives for Bud Flanagan Unit staff.
• Support student nurses and liaise to ensure proper induction and training.
