The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Haematology nurse to join the Bud Flanagan Unit as a Practice Educator support. The post holder will help educate and train nurses, supporting across the unit to maintain high standards of cancer patient care.

Key responsibilities include facilitating core nursing skills for SACT, Transplant and cellular therapy, plus supporting student nurses and staff training towards JACIE accreditation. UK-based within the Sutton site.

Qualifikationen

• Essential: NMC registration.
• Essential: Degree level or equivalent.
• Essential: Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Essential: Sufficient post registration nursing experience in Haemato-Oncology.
• Desirable: Professional Nurse Advocate.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical support to the Haematology Practice Educator and nursing team to deliver high quality, evidence-based patient care.
• Assist in facilitating and ensuring staff are equipped with core nursing skills for SACT, Transplant, Cellular Therapy and clinical trials.
• Support newly qualified nurses to become clinically competent in caring for cancer patients.
• Assist in supporting JACIE accreditation objectives for staff on Bud Flanagan.
• Support placements and inductions with ward managers and practice assessors in line with NMC Standards.
