NHS Trusts in North West England and the East Midlands is recruiting Permanent Consultant Haematologists to join established Haematology departments delivering high-quality clinical care and with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests, participate in research, teaching, and service development, while enjoying an outstanding work-life balance.

Qualifications

Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise.
GMC Specialist Registration in Haematology (or within 6 months of CCT/CESR)
FRCPath (or equivalent)
Broad experience across clinical and laboratory Haematology
Commitment to governance, multidisciplinary working, teaching, research, audit, and service improvement

Responsibilities

Manage clinical and laboratory Haematology across a broad spectrum of conditions.
Develop and expand subspecialty interests within supportive Consultant teams.
Deliver teaching, research, audit, quality improvement and clinical leadership.
Work closely with specialist nurses, laboratory teams, oncology, radiology, pathology, palliative care and wider MDTs
