NHS Trusts in North West England and the East Midlands is recruiting Permanent Consultant Haematologists to join established Haematology departments delivering high-quality clinical care and with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests, participate in research, teaching, and service development, while enjoying an outstanding work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise.
• GMC Specialist Registration in Haematology (or within 6 months of CCT/CESR)
• FRCPath (or equivalent)
• Broad experience across clinical and laboratory Haematology
• Commitment to governance, multidisciplinary working, teaching, research, audit, and service improvement

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical and laboratory Haematology across a broad spectrum of conditions.
• Develop and expand subspecialty interests within supportive Consultant teams.
• Deliver teaching, research, audit, quality improvement and clinical leadership.
• Work closely with specialist nurses, laboratory teams, oncology, radiology, pathology, palliative care and wider MDTs
