Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care to patients with haematological disorders.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Engage in teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit and quality improvement projects.
- Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including documentation and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of haematology advancements through continuing professional development.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.
- Completion of higher specialist training in Haematology.
- Possession of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent in Haematology.
- Experience in managing a wide range of haematological conditions.
