Job summary

The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated ACP to join the Haematology team. The post is banded, starting at Band 7 unless the applicant meets the threshold for Band 8a.

The ACP will work autonomously, undertake assessments for acute, emergency and elective haematology patients, order investigations, initiate treatments, and lead elective assessment services. They will provide clinical leadership to nurses and collaborate with the multi-professional team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) with autonomous practice.
• Experience in haematology settings preferred.
• Evidence of leadership and clinical support within a multi-professional team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake clinical assessments for acute, emergency and elective haematology patients.
• Order and carry out investigations and initiate treatments within defined competence and protocols.
• Lead, develop, implement and evaluate elective assessment services.
• Provide leadership and clinical support to nurses in the service.
