Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (DBTH) is seeking a part-time Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Apprentice) to join the ACP Team within the Division of Urgent and Emergency Care. You will be an experienced nurse or allied health professional, demonstrate leadership and commit to a three-year Level 7 apprenticeship with Sheffield Hallam University.

Pay starts at the Band 6 mid-point and progresses to Band 7 after completing academic and clinical milestones.

Qualifications

• Registered professional with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Degree at Level 6 (first degree) required.
• Willingness to undertake Level 7 MSc apprenticeship.
• ALS provider/instructor qualification is desirable.
• Experience with ACP training modules and leadership development.
• Evidence of mandatory training updates.

Responsibilities

• Work within a defined scope and clinical standards in a team setting.
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, investigations, and prescribing where appropriate.
• Deliver high quality patient care with autonomous practice within MDT guidance.
• Progress to Band 7 on successful completion of academic and clinical competencies.
