Join Our Team as a Gynaecology Hysteroscopy Nurse!

Are you a skilled and compassionate nurse with a passion for women's health?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gynae Hysteroscopy Nurse to join our dedicated NHS team, supporting patients undergoing hysteroscopy procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

What You’ll Do:

️ Assist in delivering high-quality care during outpatient hysteroscopy procedures, supporting consultants

️ Prepare patients for procedures, providing reassurance, education, and post-procedure care

️ Ensure all clinical areas are fully equipped, clean, and safe in line with infection control policies

️ Accurately document patient assessments, observations, and interventions using electronic patient record systems

️ Act as a chaperone and provide emotional support to patients during sensitive procedures

️ Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during and after procedures and escalate appropriately

️ Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely referrals, follow-up care, and excellent patient outcomes

️ Contribute to audits, service improvement initiatives, and patient feedback processes

️ Maintain up-to-date knowledge and training related to gynaecology and ambulatory procedures

What We’re Looking For:

NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)

At least 1 year experience in gynaecology, theatres, or outpatient nursing preferred

Must be experience assisting hysteroscopies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Confident in working independently and as part of a team

Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

Organised, adaptable, and keen to develop specialist skills in ambulatory gynaecology
