University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a substantive consultant in Gynaecological Oncology to provide expert care for women with complex oncological and surgical needs. The role involves clinical leadership, patient safety oversight, and participation in an on-call rota across the UHD estate.

Applicants should hold MRCOG with subspecialty training in gynaecological oncology and have Full GMC registration, with experience in cytoreductive surgery and involvement in MDTs and research activities.

Formación

• MRCOG or equivalent with CCT/CESR in obstetrics and gynaecology.
• Subspecialty training in gynaecological oncology.
• Full GMC registration and commitment to Good Medical Practice.
• Experience in major gynaecological oncology surgery, including cytoreductive procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert care for women with complex oncological and surgical needs.
• Provide clinical leadership and maintain patient safety standards.
• Offer consultant support from home for overnight care under a two-tier registrar system.
• Take part in the wider gynaecology on-call rota and out-of-hours shifts.
