Job summary

Gymfinity Kids in Walton-on-Thames is seeking coaches from all sporting backgrounds to join our growing club. This is a fantastic opportunity with progression routes and the freedom to share ideas on how we can improve.

As a coach you will develop gymnastics and ninja activities, work with a team, communicate with parents, maintain high safety standards and help children reach their goals. DBS clearance is required and evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in coaching, including qualifications.
• Knowledge or experience with gymnastics or parkour (preferred but not essential).
• Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
• A passion for working with and developing children.
• Confidence leading small and large groups.
• Confidence liaising with parents and members.
• A desire to learn and develop within the role.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for our policies and safety standards.
• Participate in planning and development of gymnastics and ninja activities.

• Work as part of a team, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
• Identify training needs for yourself or the team.
• Be a role model for customer service to members and prospects.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facilities for a great customer experience.
• Participate in regular staff meetings.
• Help create an environment where colleagues enjoy their work and contribute to the club's success.
• Undertake other duties and attend meetings as required.

Responsibilities of the role:

• To be an ambassador for our policies and procedures which are written in line with our Colleague handbook and safety standards.
• To participate in the planning and development of our Gymnastics and Ninja activities, enabling our customers to reach their potential and learning goals.
• Communicate with parents and customers in a professional and friendly manner.
