Job summary

Serco Leisure is recruiting a Gymnastics Coach in Bangor to deliver planned sessions that promote participant progression and meet national guidelines. The role also supports programme growth across multiple sites and requires a DBS check and strong customer service.

Applicants should hold Level 1 British Gymnastics or equivalent and five GCSEs (C/4+). The position offers casual hours, training opportunities, and a friendly, active team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned gymnastics sessions that support participant progression across the programme pathway.
• Prepare, plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions that meet national governing body requirements.
• Monitor coaching rotas and support appropriate coach-to-participant ratios.
• Assist with the development and growth of gymnastics programmes across multiple sites.
• Maintain accurate records and administration for all sessions in line with operational procedures.
• Promote gymnastics and recreational activities through events, engagement and publicity initiatives.
• Provide a professional and welcoming experience for customers and participants.

What You’ll Do As a Gymnastics Coach

Vetting And Checks

This role requires a Basic DBS check, which will disclose any unspent convictions in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
