Job summary

InspireAll is seeking a Fitness Gym Instructor for Pendleton Sports Centre in Arlesey. This permanent part-time role (25 hours per week) offers a pro rata annual salary of £25,775.88.

The successful candidate will supervise gym members, conduct inductions and fitness assessments, and help track progress in a supportive team environment. Applicants should have a Level 3 health and fitness qualification and ideally be CIMSPA registered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 qualification in health and fitness.
• CIMSPA registration preferred or expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise gym members in a friendly, supportive manner.
• Conduct inductions and fitness assessments for clients.
• Track membership usage and results.
• Maintain clean and safe facilities.
• Deliver personal training sessions on available hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Instructor to join an enthusiastic and friendly team within InspireAll. This is a good opportunity to build a career in health & fitness and focus on developing a portfolio in personal training.

Responsibilities include

• Providing friendly and supportive supervision to gym members
• Providing customer inductions and fitness assessments
• Tracking membership usage & results
• Maintaining clean & safe facilities
• Providing challenges and social activities for customers
• To deliver in hours personal training sessions to our clients

What we are looking for

• You should hold a level 3 qualification in health and fitness, have a background in working in the industry and ideally be CIMSPA registered
• A self-starter with good interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills and experience of working in a similar role
• Experience of in teaching studio classes is desirable
• A flexible approach to working hours, as you may be required to work evenings and weekends.
