Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking a General Assistant (Cleaner) to help maintain exceptionally clean facilities and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for our members. This 20-hour-per-week role focuses on clean floors, changing facilities and the overall presentation of the club.

You will work with a supportive team, receive comprehensive training, and have opportunities to progress into wider operational and customer-facing roles within Frasers Group.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Cleaning, housekeeping or facilities experience.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and safe chemical handling.
• Experience in leisure, hospitality, retail or commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including fitness spaces, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal areas.
• Ensure gym equipment, touchpoints and surfaces are sanitised and presented to the highest standard.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements.
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.
• Support the wider club team in delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.
