Job summary

Everlast Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a General Assistant (Cleaner) to uphold the highest cleanliness standards across our facilities. You will clean gym floors, studios, changing rooms, showers, and public areas to create a welcoming, safe environment for members.

This 20-hour-per-week role offers training, flexible evenings and weekends, and opportunities to be part of the Frasers Group. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, reliable, and a team player who cares about the member

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not essential – full training provided.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
• Strong time management and communication within a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning of gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to ensure a safe environment.
• Empty bins, replace liners, and follow waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; notify management when stock is low.
• Work with gym team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Uphold Everlast Gyms’ cleanliness and safety standards at all times.
