Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a proactive cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our busy gym clubs. You will support a positive environment for members and colleagues, ensuring policies are followed and brand standards are consistently applied.

The role involves daily cleaning checks, professional appearance, and delivering excellent member service while collaborating with teams to promote consistent standards. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.
• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
