Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards across the club and support a positive member environment. You will conduct regular cleaning and safety checks, ensuring brand standards are upheld and facilities remain safe and welcoming for all members and staff.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional interactions with members, adherence to health and safety policies, and the ability to work as part of a team while also managing tasks independently.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.
• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Follow Health and Safety policies and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities to promote consistent standards.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties.
