Job summary

Core Development and Management-Planet Fitness is seeking a Facilities Technician to service cardio and strength equipment and carry out general maintenance across Club facilities. The role emphasizes reliable upkeep, ticketing responsibility, and proactive communication with club teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of mechanical/electrical service experience, a clean driving record, and basic IT skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of mechanical and electrical service experience.
• Experience in a fitness club is preferred.
• Clean driving record with a valid license.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Dependable, takes initiative, works well independently and in a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair out-of-order equipment and obtain sign-off from club staff.
• Communicate daily with Facilities Manager on progress and obstacles.
• Achieve KPI targets consistently.
• Manage all helpdesk tickets for assigned clubs.
• Conduct club walk-throughs for preventative maintenance and ensure supplies and equipment.
• Maintain and update work schedules in Outlook.
• Assist with construction, presales, re-equips, and installations.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and cleanliness.
• Document work done on warranted equipment and target warranty work time.
• Support other Facilities team members as needed.
