Job summary

JD Gyms in Milton Keynes is seeking a dynamic Club Manager with proven leadership and commercial ability to develop a growing gym. You will nurture a vibrant membership base while guiding a team to deliver an outstanding fitness experience.

You will drive sales, maintain brand standards, ensure safety and cleanliness, recruit and develop staff, and collaborate with the wider club network to push local marketing initiatives and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in leisure industry.
• Strong customer service orientation and inspirational leadership.
• Experience driving sales and coordinating local marketing.
• Experience recruiting and managing a team in a similar facility.
• Experience as General Manager or Fitness Manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and company procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standards.
• Conduct safety checks daily, weekly, monthly.
• Report defects to keep building and equipment safe.
• Recruit and manage a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants.
• Hold regular team meetings for development.
• Work toward sales and membership targets.
• Drive secondary revenue and ensure cleanliness standards.
• Ensure uniform standards and exceptional member service.
• Be an ambassador of JD Gyms.
