Job summary

Infinity Quest Limited is seeking an experienced Migration Lead with deep Microsoft 365 expertise to drive a large-scale Google Workspace migration for our 42,000-strong workforce. You will steer end-to-end technical planning, data migration, and integration, ensuring minimal disruption and high data integrity during the transition.

You will lead a team of migration specialists, collaborate with the Solution Architect and Change Management Lead, and enforce security settings and compliance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical migration roles for large-scale enterprise IT transformations.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Workspace administration and migration tools.
• Experience migrating from Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Outlook, SharePoint Online, OneDrive) to Google Workspace.
• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, architecture, and data structures (Azure, Defender for Cloud).
• Technical knowledge of Google Workspace administration, security features, and migration tools (GWMMO, GWME, GCDS).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, security policies, and identity management systems (e.g., Active Directory, SAML-based SSO).
• Proven ability to manage complex technical issues and drive their resolution efficiently.

Responsibilities

• GWS engineer proficient in Google Workspace implementation and support work.
• Technical Migration Strategy & Execution: Lead the technical planning, execution, and successful completion of Google Workspace migration
• Migration Tooling: demonstrating expertise with Google Workspace Migration solutions for larger scale or complexities.
• Data Integrity & Performance: Ensure data integrity and optimize migration performance throughout all phases, including planning for data transfer methods and bandwidth requirements.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve any technical issues, data corruption, or connectivity problems arising during migration. Refine migration scripts and processes based on real-time feedback and encountered challenges.
• Infrastructure & System Integration: Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure proper integration with identity management systems Assist with the configuration of network and firewall rules for optimal migration performance.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of migration progress, technical issues, and resolutions. Provide regular technical updates to the project manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of migration specialists, providing technical guidance and support. Work closely with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, and Change Management Lead to ensure a coordinated and seamless migration experience.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to defined security settings (e.g., 2-Step Verification, DLP, spam filters) and compliance rules for Gmail and Google Calendar during migration.
