Job summary

3t Training Services are recruiting a GWO instructor to operate from our North Shields facility. You will deliver high-quality, approved GWO training and related safety courses, with a focus on wind sector safety.

Applicants with direct GWO experience are preferred, but upskilling is available for suitable candidates. The role involves delivering courses, supporting delegates, and contributing to course development and quality assurance in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 teaching qualification or be actively working towards it.
• Assessor Award or willingness to work towards.
• Knowledge of safety-critical training needs to support safe working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements.
• Support delegates during course delivery as appropriate.
• Obtain positive feedback following course completion in line with KPIs.
• Participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events.
• Provide support to trainee and existing instructor/assessors as appropriate.
• Support department growth through input to new courses and training standards.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Adhere to 3t and Client HSE Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure 3t quality and operational procedures are followed.
• Maintain ownership of departmental policies and procedures.

3t is currently looking to recruit 2x GWO Instructors in North Shields, England.

This role is contracted at 40 hours per week. The standard working pattern will be 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The Opportunity

3t Training Services are seeking to appoint a GWO instructor to work out of our North Shields training facility. The purpose of the role is to deliver high-quality, approved training across the GWO programme range. The successful candidate will be someone currently delivering GWO or safety critical training such as working at height, fire awareness, manual handling and first aid. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about delivering training across safety-critical sectors, ensuring the safety of personnel working a range of challenging scenarios posed in the wind sector. Candidates without direct knowledge of GWO will be considered as full upskilling can be provided.
