The Best Connection is currently recruiting in the Heathfield area for a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver with a CSCS Card to operate a Gully Sucker vehicle. You will work across East Sussex, performing daily vehicle checks, paperwork, and on-site customer service.

Experience is preferred but not essential; a reliable work ethic and safety focus are essential for this site-based role. Recruitment is through The Best Connection Eastbourne.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) Licence.
• In-date CSCS Card (essential for site access).
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a site-based environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating and driving a Class 2 Gully Sucker vehicle.
• Following site health & safety procedures at all times.
• Completing relevant paperwork and driver logs accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service on site.
• Attending various sites across East Sussex and surrounding areas.
• Emptying and cleaning gullies and drainage systems.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism whilst working on customer sites.
