Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking an experienced Guillotine Operator to join a busy print production team. You will set up and run programmable guillotines, accurately cutting and trimming printed materials to exact specifications.

The role requires reading job bags and layouts, ensuring quality, and performing basic maintenance. Training is 2–3 weeks on a day shift (8am-4pm) before transitioning to a night shift (9pm-6am) with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a guillotine in a print envionment or similar.
• Ability to read cutting specifications and print layouts.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Willingness to train and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate programmable guillotines to production specs.
• Accurately cut and trim printed materials to job instructions.
• Read job bags, cutting notes, and layouts before starting.
• Inspect finished items for quality and consistency.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and blade changes safely.
• Handle paper stocks and prepare pallets for dispatch.
