KPI Recruiting Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Guillotine Operator to set up, program, and run industrial guillotines to cut printed materials to tight specs. You will read job bags, check quality, and perform basic blade changes, with training on days 8am-4pm before moving to night shift 9pm-6am. PPE provided; on-site position.

Experience with guillotines and basic maintenance are required. This role offers exposure to high-volume print finishing and strict quality controls.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience operating a guillotine in a commercial print environment.
• Good understanding of print finishing processes and cutting specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
• Ability to work at pace and meet production deadlines.
• Physically fit, with the ability to stand for long periods and handle paper stocks.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming and operating industrial guillotine machines to accurately cut and trim printed materials while maintaining high-quality standards and minimising waste.

• Read job bags, cutting instructions and print layouts.
• Check finished products for quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and blade changes safely.
• Handle paper stocks, stack finished products and prepare pallets for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and safe working enviroment.
