Job summary

Doncaster Racecourse is seeking a Casual Receptionist to join our guest services team, delivering a welcoming experience at our on-site Hilton Garden Inn facilities during racedays and events.

You will answer calls, manage guest information in our online system, allocate rooms, and support the F&B team by upselling dining options. Working flexibly across shifts, you’ll be part of a professional team delivering excellent service during busy season and events.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle incoming calls and manage guest requests.
• Willingness to upsell the restaurant to guests.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and take messages accurately.
• Use the online system to manage guest requests and hotel information.
• Allocate rooms correctly and enter room allocations into the computer system.
• Support the Food & Beverage (F&B) team by upselling the restaurant to guests.
• Work effectively as part of the team and support colleagues across the wider hotel when required.
