Job summary

Southport Aerospace Centre Inc. is seeking a Guest Services and Cleaning Technician to manage front desk operations, handle reservations, check-in/check-out, and process guest accounts while keeping accommodations and designated public areas clean.

You will work with the Supervisor, Accommodations to deliver professional service, uphold cleanliness standards, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Process guest arrivals and departures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Manage reservations, prepare guest keys, and complete and maintain guest registration records.
• Process guest payments and credit card transactions using designated systems.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating concerns to management when required.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with guests, staff, and visitors.
• Clean and maintain guest rooms in accordance with established standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
• Clean and maintain designated public areas, including hallways, lobbies, kitchens, and dining areas.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, including fixtures, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls, and replenish dispensers as required.
• Clean entrance glass and other interior glass surfaces.
• Dust furniture, work surfaces, vending machines, ATMs, blinds, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
• Remove waste and recycling and replace liners as required.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers, in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures relating to workplace safety, building and room security, time and attendance, and dress standards.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest information and records.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and facility issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
