Job summary

Whitbread PLC’s Premier Inn York South West is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member at Bilbrough Top, Colton, York. You’ll welcome guests, check them in, and help serve breakfast or dinner, contributing to a smooth stay.

Shifts include evenings and weekends with 10 guaranteed hours per week, and pay up to £13.06 per hour. Full training and ongoing support are provided to help you grow your hospitality career.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; candidates from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service are welcome.
• If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure
