Job summary

Layka Recruitment is helping a London hotel hire a porter to greet guests warmly and provide a bespoke guest experience. You will escort guests, assist with directions, and ensure luggage is managed with care and efficiency.

You will also park and retrieve vehicles, keep the driveway tidy, and maintain per-guest records while delivering discreet, personalised service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a professional, friendly manner and help them feel at home
• Escort guests when possible to their destination around the property
• Park cars and retrieve them according to hotel standards; hold keys safely
• Maintain cleanliness and order on the driveway
• Have knowledge of the local area to assist guests with directions
• Deliver and collect luggage promptly and according to hotel standards
• Load and unload luggage into guests' cars or taxis
• Handle personal items with care to prevent damage
• Maintain accurate records of luggage movement in/out of the hotel
• Exceed guests' expectations by providing discreet and personalised service

• To deliver and collect luggage promptly and according to hotel standards.
• To load and unload luggage into guests cars or taxis.
• Handle all personal items with care so that no damage occurs.
• To maintain accurate records of the movement of luggage in and out of the hotel.
