Job summary

Accor's ibis Southampton Centre is seeking a Guest Service Assistant to be the welcoming face of the hotel, handling reception and F&B duties. The role is full-time with a pay rate of £12.95 per hour and includes excellent employee benefits and career development opportunities.

We are looking for friendly, professional, customer-focused individuals. Hospitality experience is helpful but not essential; more important is warmth, reliability, and eagerness to learn.

Join ibis Southampton Centre as a Guest Service Assistant and become the face of the hotel, delivering memorable experiences for guests from arrival to departure. This full-time role offers £12.95 per hour, excellent employee benefits and the opportunity to build a rewarding career in hospitality.

We're looking for a friendly, professional and customer-focused individual to join our team. Whether you already have hospitality experience or are looking to develop your skills within a hotel environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied role at the heart of the guest experience.

Conveniently located close to Southampton Central Station and the city's cruise terminals, ibis Southampton Centre welcomes a mix of business travellers, leisure guests and cruise passengers throughout the year.

The Role

As a Guest Service Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout their stay. Working across reception and food & beverage operations, you'll help create a seamless guest experience while maintaining high standards across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities Include

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Previous hospitality or hotel experience would be an advantage but is not essential. More importantly, you'll be warm, reliable and eager to learn.
