Job summary

Rosslea Hall Hotel in Rhu near Helensburgh invites you to join our front-of-house team as a Guest Service Assistant. You will help ensure every guest enjoys a memorable stay with warm hospitality and professional service.

As part of a friendly team, you will assist with check-in/check-out, guest inquiries, and coordinating with housekeeping. This role includes serving in the Glen Fruin Bar during evenings and supporting events.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a busy front-of-house environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out efficiently.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Handle reservations and guest account updates.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain accurate guest records and confidentiality.
• Support front desk during busy periods.

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Guest Service Assistant to support our front-of-house team in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure


• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently


• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism


• Handle reservations, cancellations, and guest account updates as required


• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs


• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality


• Support the front desk team during busy periods or staff shortages


• Uphold hotel standards of hospitality, appearance, and service at all times


• Serve guest in our Glen Fruin Bar for evening meals and drinks


• Assist with food and drinks service during events
