Job summary

Vigilant Security is seeking experienced Security Officers to join our local team in Dumfries & Galloway. You will deliver a 5-star front of house service with a visible yet subtle security presence, creating strong first impressions for visitors.

The role offers flexible casual contracts, with day, night and weekend shifts as required. The position involves working at venues and events beyond the immediate area, with a competitive rate of pay and annual leave including bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Professional, flexible, enthusiastic and proactive candidates are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with visitors at all levels.
• Reliable and punctual with a clear focus on guest service and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional first impression and deliver beyond client expectations.
• Maintain a high level of guest service while ensuring security presence.
• Respond to security incidents and health & safety requirements as needed.
• Complete detailed handovers at the end of each shift.
• Be proactive in greeting clients and ensuring a safe environment for all visitors.
