Job summary

Holiday Inn Reading-South is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant under an Occasional Worker Agreement - Casual. You will help prepare and serve food and beverages while ensuring guest satisfaction and a welcoming dining experience.

The role requires friendly, reliable service with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Full training is provided, with opportunities to develop guest-service skills in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality is desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, ensuring health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Support the Food and Beverage team with setup, restocking and inventory tasks.
• Assist with events and special functions and ensure areas are well-stocked.
