Job summary

Holiday Inn Reading-South is seeking a flexible Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team on an occasional worker casual basis. You will help prepare and serve food and drinks, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

You will maintain dining areas, handle guest inquiries, and assist with events, with shifts including evenings and weekends. No prior hospitality experience required, but a positive attitude and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.

• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
