Job summary

Holiday Inn London - Shepperton is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver outstanding guest service across the stay. You’ll show enthusiasm for guests, work with our team and use available technology to simplify tasks while keeping high standards.

You will engage with guests, build relationships, upsell where appropriate and respond promptly to feedback. A proactive approach will help you enhance the guest experience and support hotel promotions.

Qualifications

• Incredible customer service abilities and confidence to anticipate and deliver on guests needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay flexible and attentive to detail in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all guests experience an outstanding level of service throughout their stay.
• Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness.
• Engage, build and develop relationships with guests, assessing their needs and flexing style and approach appropriately.
• Being attentive to all guests and looking for opportunities to up-sell and make recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Responding promptly to guest complaints and finding ways to turnaround any negative feedback.
• Keeping up to date with hotel facilities, promotions and the local market area, so as to be able to effectively assist guests.
• Looking for ways to deliver continuous improvements to the guest experience.
