Job summary

LQ Resorts in Oswestry, United Kingdom, is seeking a Night Porter to join our Porters team. You will greet guests, handle night porterage, cover reception, and assist with safety procedures while ensuring a superb guest experience.

You will upsell hotel services, maintain cleanliness in public areas, and support events. A calm, reliable team player with strong customer service is essential for night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests on arrival and provide porterage service at night.
• Provide cover for the reception desk and perform duties efficiently.
• In absence of Resort Manager/Deputy/Night Supervisor, manage night-time emergencies and evacuations.
• Follow Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety policies in absence of senior staff.
• Ensure left luggage procedures are followed and communicated in handover.
• Upsell hotel services and facilities during guest stays.
• Maintain knowledge of local area to assist guests and arrange local transport.
• Charge guests correctly and provide receipts, adhere to cash handling procedures.
