Butcombe Group is recruiting an Assistant Manager to help run a busy pub, deliver outstanding guest experiences and support the General Manager in daily operations.

You will lead by example, coach team members, and foster a welcoming, inclusive culture while contributing to stock control, rotas and compliance. This role offers development opportunities within our award-winning organisation.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring every shift delivers great hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
• Leading by example and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service standards every day.
• Coaching, developing and motivating team members, helping them build confidence and grow their careers.
• Driving a positive and inclusive team culture where people feel valued and supported.
• Supporting with stock control, rotas, compliance and operational standards.
• Taking ownership of the guest journey and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
• Helping to deliver strong commercial performance while maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere our pubs are known for.
