Job summary

New Forest Hotels" Burley Manor is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to help lead the team from breakfast through to dinner, delivering warm, personal service and maintaining high standards.

You will supervise during service, greet guests, train and coach staff, and work closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth operations. This full-time role offers a competitive salary plus service charge, plus opportunities to develop across our New Forest venues.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Passion for hospitality and guest centric service.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the restaurant team during service.
• Leading by example and creating a welcoming, positive atmosphere.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of food, drink and customer service.
• Welcoming guests and building genuine relationships with them.
• Supporting with briefings, training and coaching for team members.
• Working closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Handling guest requests and resolving issues calmly and professionally.
• Supporting the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operations.
